About Us

Our Cabin

Cozy waterfront cabin in Doublehead Resort, located on Wilson Lake in North Alabama, is nestled back in the trees just steps away from your own private pier. The cabin offers an elevated porch with rocking chairs and outdoor ceiling fans for those warm spring and summer nights.

Newly renovated and furnished from top to bottom in the fall of 2020, Stay Awhile Cabin offers almost 1500 square feet, including open concept living room and kitchen, one bedroom and full bathroom downstairs, two bedrooms and 3/4 bathroom upstairs. The living room is nicely furnished with a plush sectional sofa made for lazy days, watching football or just catching up with family and friends. Relax in the leather armchair near the wood-burning fireplace and soft accent chair with a view of the lake. The living room is equipped with a 70 inch Vizio HD Smart TV with surround sound and Direct TV for those football and movie weekends.

Adjacent to the living room, you will find a well equipped kitchen with a Keurig, traditional coffee pot, all new dishes, silverware, glassware (including wine glasses), cookware, utensils, blender, crockpot, toaster, etc. For those of you that love to cook, the kitchen also offers a full set of restaurant quality Le Creuset cookware for your cooking pleasure. A washer/dryer combo is also available for your convenience.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with separate entrance into adjoining bathroom. There is a 32 inch Phillips HD Smart Roku TV which is connected to Direct TV as well. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two twin beds. These are connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom. The king bedroom has a Phillips 32 inch Smart Roku TV and twin bedroom has a Vizio 32 inch smart TV. All bedrooms are equipped with new ceiling fans and Eddie Bauer bedding for your sleeping comfort.
